Janis von Jever is a gorgeous, 4–5-year-old German Shepherd -- a smart and charismatic beauty who is always looking to please. On the larger side for a female (~80lbs), she is a true people-dog who bonds readily and is looking for a home where her people are around more. Affectionate, sweet and playful, she loves all the petting and attention she can get and, though quite treat-motivated, she takes treats gently. She is crate-trained and knows her “sit” and “down” commands, and this sharp pup is always ready to learn more! On a leash, Janis is delightful to walk. She starts out happy and ready to take her place at heel position, and she is comfortable walking next to a group of other mid- and large-size dogs (she's not for small dogs or cats). In playgroups, she is calm and comfortable. She enjoys exploring and some light mingling; she’ll avoid the pushy dogs – she isn’t much of a party animal, and we sure do love her for that. She is really all about her people. If you’re looking for a sweet and loyal gal with a wonderful medium-energy level, Janis just might be the one!
